摘要
One of the products of the reaction of NiCp2 with LiCH3 in the presence of 2-butyne, is the tetrameric complex [CpNi-C(CH3)=C(CH3)2]4 (6). The unstable monomer {CpNi-C(CH3)=C(CH3)2}, which possesses a coordinatively unsaturated nickel atom, tetramerizes in such way that each nickel atom in the tetramer 6 forms a pi-complex with the double bond of the next monomer molecule thus achieving a stable 18 electron configuration.
