DYNAMICS OF COPOLYMER AND HOMOPOLYMER BLENDS IN STRONG SOLUTIONS AND BULK - THE EDWARDS HAMILTONIAN APPROACH

摘要
We consider the dynamics of copolymers and homopolymers in strong solution and in the melt system. We start from the Edwards Hamiltonian and derive from that the dynamical equations for the density and concentration fluctuations. We show that this procedure is new, simple, and easy to handle, leading to the same results as the projection operator formalism, if applied to this dynamical problem. In order to illustrate this formalism we apply it to the case of a mixture of two homopolymers and the case of diblock copolymers in blend and in solutions. © 1990 American Institute of Physics.
