THE CRUCIAL EFFECT OF THE OUTER LAYERS ON THE CRITICAL FIELDS OF NB/NBZR-TYPE SUPERCONDUCTING SUPERLATTICES

摘要
The characteristic 2D-3D crossover in the parallel critical field of Nb/NbZr-type multilayers is shown to be strongly dependent on the occurrence of surface superconductivity in the outer layers, while also the perpendicular critical field depends on the type of outer layer. Critical current measurements corroborate the picture.
