摘要
A purely thermal [3+2] cycloaddition between a ketal of 2-methylenecyclopropanone 1 and a carbonyl compound takes place to give an acetal of a-methylene 7-lactone 2 in good to excellent yield, providing a strategically new entry to substituted tetrahydrofurans. © 1990, American Chemical Society.
