摘要
The development of a kinetic model for the bulk thermal copolymerization of styrene/p-methylstyrene (PMS) is reported. Free-volume theory has been used to model diffusion controlled termination and propagation. This kinetic model is in reasonable agreement with published rate and molecular weight data on thermal homopolymerization of styrene and PMS as well as with data for the copolymerization of these monomers.
