GRAVITATIONAL LENSING AND THE COSMIC MICROWAVE BACKGROUND

摘要
We present calculations of the effect of the gravitational lensing of the cosmic microwave photons, produced by linear density perturbations, on the anisotropies of the cosmic microwave background for several popular cosmological scenarios. The result is an appreciable amplification of the order of 20% for DELTAT/T in present experiments of several arcminute scales, whereas previous work dealing with nonlinear density fluctuations find a negligible amplification. On smaller scales of a few arcminutes (< 3') the amplification can be even higher than 100% for the same scenarios.
