摘要
The electrochemical behaviour of a series of copper(II) complexes of 2-acetylpyridine 3-azacyclothiosemicarbazones is reported. The complexes undergo a quasi-reversible one electron reduction in the range -0.400 to -0.450 V versus Ag/AgCl, attributable to the copper(II)/copper(I) redox couple. The electrochemical, as well as spectral characteristics of these complexes, can be correlated with their antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger, Paecilomyces variotti, Penicillium rubrum and Aspergillus terreus.
