ON THE FERMION CONDENSATE IN THE SCHWINGER MODEL

摘要
Bosonization rules are used to derive in a very simple way the known results for the fermion condensate in the Schwinger model defined on various manifolds. If the manifold presents a cylinder or a torus (the finite temperature Schwinger model), the real time technique is the most convenient. Two-dimensional QED with several flavours is also discussed.
