VARIATION OF THE SOLAR NEUTRINO FLUX WITH THE SUNS ACTIVITY

摘要
The detection rate of 37Ar at the Homestake solar neutrino experiment is strongly correlated with the monthly sunspot number. The strength of the correlation rises when a semiannual variation is included. These results support the hypothesis that precession of a neutrino magnetic moment in the solar magnetic field is responsible for the variation of the Homestake data. © 1990 Nature Publishing Group.
