OUT-OF-PLANE SQUEEZE OF CLUSTERS IN RELATIVISTIC HEAVY-ION COLLISIONS

摘要
The azimuthal distribution of fragments at midrapidity exhibits a strong out of plane squeeze effect for light fragments as compared to protons. This enhancement increases with increasing transverse momenta of the fragments. Fragments around projectile and target rapidity are - on the other side - strongly correlated with the reaction plane. The microscopic QMD calculations with realistic momentum dependence forces predict a more pronounced squeeze-out for fragments than for protons.
