摘要
So far, the best available techniques for the instrumental spreading calibration in size exclusion chromatography (SEC) prvide the first moments of the spreading function, and require the measurement of several recycles. This work presents a method that enables the calculation of the spreading, making no 'a priori' assumptions with regards to its shape, from the information contained in the original and first recycle chromatograms of a narrowly distributed standard only. Then, the corrected chromatogram may be obtained. The technique is tested on experimental data.
