摘要：

New developments in diagnosis aid in the treatment of sensorineural hearing loss and have improved the outlook for patients with this disorder. Not all of these patients are untreatable, and they should be approached systematically and enthusiastically. Thorough evaluation should be performed on all patients and is discussed in this article.
