摘要
Radioactive testosterone, 17β-hydroxy-5α and β-androstan-3-one, androsterone, 5α-androstane-3,17-dione and Δ4-androstene-3α and β, 17β-diol have been injected into normal men and women, and the urinary radioactive 17-oxo and 17β-hydroxyandrostane steroids have been isolated. 17β-hydroxy-5α-andros-tan -3-one has been found in the glucuronide fraction. Results indicate that 17β-hydroxy-5α and β-androstan-3-one are good precursors of urinary 5α and β-androstane-3α, 17β-diol respectively; it seems probable that they are intermediates in the formation of the androstanediols from testosterone whereas most urinary 17-oxosteroids deriving from testosterone are formed after dehydrogenation of testosterone to Δ4-androstene-3,17-dione. Δ4-androstene-3α and β, 17β-diols are essentially converted into testosterone. © 1968.
