A microbiosensor for the determination of choline (Ch) and acetylcholine (Ach) has been studied. Ch and Ach can be determined at the muM level with a precision from 3.5 to 7.0%. The detection limit for Ch is found to be 10(-7) M, whereas for Ach it is 10(-6) M. The storage stability of the sensing element turns out to be satisfactory. The response time varies from three to ten minutes.
