HIGH-TEMPERATURE DEPOSITION OF HTSC THIN-FILMS BY SPRAY PYROLYSIS

Y-Ba-Cu-O superconducting thin films were deposited by spray pyrolysis on high temperature substrates (T > 600-degrees-C). Films, on polished MgO, showed T(onset) at 87 K and T(end) at 80 K. The effects of deposition temperature on film stoichiometry, surface morphology and electrical properties are discussed.
