CONTRIBUTION TO THE EXPERIMENTAL-DETERMINATION OF THE PHASE-DIAGRAMS OF SOME (CARBON-DIOXIDE PLUS A TERPENE) MIXTURES

Critical and (l+l+g) lines of the phase diagrams of seven (carbon dioxide+a terpene) mixtures have been determined in order to obtain useful information for the calculation of phase equilibria. Different classes of phase diagrams have been observed, the (liquid+gas) critical lines being either continuous or interrupted. The solubilities of β-citronellol and geraniol in supercritical carbon dioxide have been measured as a function of temperature and pressure. © 1993 Academic Press Ltd.
