Steady-state creep behavior of Al-1. 09 mol%Mg alloy has been examined under an expanded condition. A reliable set of data on the three sub-divisions of the power-law creep regime has been obtained for Al-Mg alloys as a function of stress (2-50 MPa), temperature (570-640 K), and also the solute concentration (N//M//g equals 0. 005-0. 033). The upper and lower transition stresses have also been determined and discussed to some extent. Characteristic features of creep in region L, which are obviously different from those in region H, have been confirmed.
