LIFETIME MEASUREMENTS OF CACL, CABR AND SRCL - RADIATIVE LIFETIMES OF THE B2-SIGMA+ STATES

摘要
A time-resolved laser resonance experiment is presented in which the B2Σ+ states of the CaBr, CaCl and SrCl monohalides are reinvestigated by means of the delayed coincidence method. The lifetimes measured for CaCl and CaBr differ compared to results found in the literature. The following lifetimes were obtained for the B2Σ+states: CaCl 44.8 ± 0.9ns, CaBr 48.9 ± 0.9ns and SrCl 39.6 + l.6ns, where the uncertainties representing one standard deviation are given. © 1990 Taylor & Francis Ltd.
