摘要
A computation, using recent data on phonon mean free paths in amorphous solids, shows no significant contribution by low-frequency phonons to thermal transport at temperatures above 50 K. Therefore, a clean signature of the high-energy excitations of glasses should appear in the thermal conductivity. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
