摘要
A narrow emission feature (of half-width 4·5 km s-1 in velocity) has been detected in the 1720 MHz OH-line spectrum of Sgr A at a frequency that would correspond to an OH velocity of + 132 km s-1 (lsr). However, the identification as an OH transition is questioned because there are no features of similar velocity in the line profiles of either the other OH ground-state transitions or transitions for other molecules. © 1975 Royal Astronomical Society.
