摘要
A reformulation of the diffusion-deposition-resuspension problem [used for assessing the environmental and health impacts of radioactive contaminants] is presented which starts from convective diffusion equations for the air and surface concentrations, coupled by 2 interfacial boundary conditions. Several available parameterizations of the boundary conditions are reviewed and interrelated. Time- and x-dependent solutions are obtained for the vertically-averaged air and surface concentrations, coupled with rates of resuspension and deposition, and the influence of y and z diffusion are estimated.
