ELECTROCHEMICAL DOPING OF POLYPYRROLE - XPS STUDY

摘要
The structure of various conducting polypyrrole synthetized in an aqueous medium and the interactions between the doping ion and the polymeric chain have been investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Such a dedoped polypyrrole membrane exhibites a memory effect for the anionic doping in solution. This effect, closely related to the nature of the ion, is well marked for films obtained at relatively low oxidation potential. Simultaneously, a road has been found to incorporate preferably large organic dopant anions.
