摘要
The problem of estimating the time-varying frequency of a signal is addressed. The Cramer-Rao bound of such an estimate is developed. The Wigner distribution is applied to this problem. A theoretical analysis which derives the bias and variance of the use of the Wigner distribution is performed. Computer simulations are carried out so that the performance of the method can be verified. © 1990 IEEE
