摘要
The author reports what is believed to be the first achievement of Ar-ion-laser-pumped dye-laser operation above 1 micrometer. High-efficiency high operation has been achieved from 875 to 1084 nm by pumping two styryl derivatives with an Ar-ion laser. Peak output powers as high as 900 and 750 mw were obtained around 925 and 980 nm, respectively.
