摘要
Surface acoustic wave (SAW) resonators have been applied as chemical vapor sensors. The characteristics of an SAW resonator oscillator operating at 310 MHz coated with asolectin, cholesterol, lecithin, and phosphatidylethanolamine were analyzed. Amyl acetate, citral, β-ionone, menthone and other organic gases showed different affinities. The identification of odorants depending on the kind of lipid used for coating is discussed in terms of comparing the normalized resonant frequency shift pattern. Using a number of different lipids for coating the SAW resonators, odorants can be identified by a computerized pattern recognition algorithm. © 1990.
