摘要：

We report on stimulated Raman multi-Stokes scattering and Raman amplification in slightly multimode fluoride glass fibers. Raman gain in excess of 40 db has been obtained in an 18 mu m-diameter, 10 m-long fiber with a pump power in the order of 1 kw.
