摘要
Solanum tuberosum was transformed with the preprothaumatin II gene. Biologically active rthaumatin was produced in the transgenic plants inducing a sweet-taste phenotype. This is in contrast to expression of thaumatin genes in microbes by previous workers. © 1990 Kluwer Academic Publishers.
