摘要
The attractiveness of beta -BaB//2 O//4 has been demonstrated for high-power UV harmonic generation below 2100 angstrom. The advantages of this material are that it is phase matchable for second-harmonic generation down to 2048 angstrom at room temperature, nonhydroscopic, chemically inert, and mechanically stable. Selmeier's equations, which are highly accurate from 1. 064 mu m to 2050 angstrom, are reported.
