摘要
1. 1. The uptake of fumarate by adult Echinococcus granulosus does not conform to the model of transport based on the Michaelis-Menten theory. 2. 2. Fumarate is converted mainly to succinate, malate and alanine, which are formed in disproportionate amounts at high fumarate concentrations. 3. 3. Metabolic pathways, determined by the utilization of radioactive substrates, are similar to those described in the protoscolices by other workers. © 1968.
