摘要：

A case of neglected pessary is presented. After erosion through the anterior vaginal and bladder walls the device came to rest entirely within the bladder. Surgical management of removal of the pessary and repair of the resulting vesicovaginal fistula are described. Appropriate use of supportive pessaries as well as complications of misuse and neglect are discussed. © 1990.
