EFFECT OF TUNNELING 2-LEVEL SYSTEMS ON THE SPECTRUM AND ELECTRICAL NOISE IN METALLIC POINT CONTACTS

摘要
It is shown that the copper point-contact spectra peaks observed at the energies less than almost-equal-to 1 meV and the electrical 1/f fluctuation decreasing in the region of characteristic phonon energies are well described by the theories of the conduction electrons - the tunneling two-level systems interaction in a point-contact configuration. The observation of several equidistant peaks in point-contact spectra is connected with a possible multilevel system in a double-well potential.
