摘要
A series of new inorganic scintillators, CdF2:Eu and CdF2:Tm, with their decay times 1.3-6 ns, light yields 0.4-1.0% of NaI(Tl) and radiation resistance above 10(6)-10(8) rad, is presented in this paper. Preliminary results of the influence of constant electromagnetic and hadronic as well as of intense pulsed irradiation on the properties of optical materials are presented.
