摘要
For pt.1 see ibid., no.16, p.145 (1989). To identify the Peierls-active modes in conducting polymers and quasi-one-dimensional metals, selection rules for linear vibronic-coupling matrix elements are derived. The symmetrised Kronecker squares of irreducible corepresentations are decomposed into their irreducible constituents, for all the line groups containing a screw axis.
