摘要
Intermetallic second phase particles in Zircaloy-2 (Zr-1. 5Sn-0. 1Fe-0. 1Cr-0. 05Ni by wt%) and Zircaloy-4 (Zr-1. 5Sn-0. 2Fe-0. 1Cr by wt%) play an important role during fabrication by limiting grain growth and in service by their influence on mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The amorphous or crystalline nature of these intermetallic particles following irradiation at 350 K and 675 K, respectively, may be understood in terms of a crystalline-amorphous transition temperature.
