摘要
Structural and magnetic transitions in the triangular lattice compound LiVO2 have been studied through X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements of the partially substituted systems of Li1-xMgxVO2 and LiV1-xAlxO2. The transition temperature T(c1,2) decreases with x in both systems. A small but systematic increase of the Curie constant below T(c1,2) with the substitution of V3+ by V2+ in the Li1-xMgxVO2 system at temperatures well below T(c1,2) has been interpreted as the contribution from the triangular cluster with S=1/2 separated by the singlet clusters. It has also been indicated that T(c1,2) and the exchange coupling constant of V3+ ions are strongly correlated with V-V distance and displacement of V ions.
