摘要
The transformation kinetics of spherical particles occurring via combined surface and bulk nucleation and growth are considered. Equations are derived which describe the volume fraction transformed as a function of time. Numerical calculations are performed in order to assess the influence of kinetic parameters and particle size on the mechanism of the transformation process.
