摘要
In this paper the results of investigations into methods of improving the measuring accuracy of distance protection applied to series compensated lines is given. It is shown that in order to compensate the error in impedance measurement under earthfault conditions, an alternative to conventional residual current compensation must be used. The effect of load and source impedances on the measurands, when the conventional and alternative compensation factors are used, is given. © 1990 IEEE
