摘要
Using molecular modelling techniques, we have compared structural features of a series of 1,4-dihydropyridine calcium-channel blockers. Computer graphics modelling suggests that the agonistic as well as the antagonistic behaviour is controlled by substituents at the C-5 of the DHP-system. whereas differences in phenyl ring substitution may influence tissue selectivity and negative inotropic activity of the compounds.
