摘要
Oxygen nonstoichiometry of BaEu2Mn2O7 phase was measured by thermogravimetric analysis at 1273 K under various oxygen partial pressures. It is found that this phase has an oxygen excess nonstoichiometry form x = 0 to 0.33 in BaEu2Mn2O7+x and this result is supported by the electrical conductivity measurement, which shows p-type semiconducting behavior. The electrical conductivity also suggested the existence of a phase transition near 550 K from the z-type jump in the conductivity curve for the orthorhombic phase, while the tetragonal phase shows no anomaly near this temperature region. A T-x phase diagram for BaEu2Mn2O7+x is schematically proposed. © 1990.
