XE-129 NMR FOR THE STUDY OF OXIDIZED AND REDUCED AGX ZEOLITES

摘要
Xenon NMR spectroscopy was used to characterize xenon in silver-exchanged sodium X zeolites and the materials formed by treatment with oxygen and hydrogen. The unusual low-frequency chemical shift for the Ag+X form is attributed to a d-pi-d-pi donation from Ag+ to Xe. After reduction, the high-frequency chemical shift is due to the silver metal-xenon interactions.
