摘要
Polarization-resolved second-order Raman spectra of type-IIa natural diamond for the temperature range 300-1900 K are presented. They are compared with similar measurements made on chemical-vapor-deposition-produced diamond. The high-temperature behavior of the measured critical points for this synthetic diamond sample is very similar to that of the natural diamond sample. Most of the observed optical phonons are found to have a thermal and self-energy shift comparable to that of the longitudinal-transverse-optical (LTO) mode in diamond.
