摘要
Photooxidation of three polyacetals is described. These copolymers present different structures, but it is shown that the presence of -C-C- bonds vicinal to oxygen or the presence of tertiary carbon do not control their photoreactivity. The final photoproducts were identified by chemical treatments associated to IR spectroscopy. A mechanism involving primary hydroperoxides is proposed, which leads to the formation of carbonates, formates, and hydroxylated compounds.
