摘要
We study the growth dynamics of phase gratings in optical fibers using a local, two-photon bleaching model. The model leads to highly organized, phase matched grating growth, in which the grating continuously adjusts to changes in the background index of refraction. The result is a grating with an extremely narrow frequency response, in agreement with experimental observations.
