摘要
Following a brief review of the weak coupling calculations by Monthoux, Balatsky, and Pines, and the strong coupling calculations of Monthoux and Pines which demonstrate that the spin-fluctuation-induced interaction between planar quasiparticles in a nearly antiferromagnetic Fermi liquid produces a transition to a superconducting d(x2-y2) pairing state at high temperatures, I review recent theoretical calculations and experiments which provide strong evidence for the physical and mathematical description of the normal state of YBa2Cu3O7 as a nearly antiferromagnetic Fermi liquid, with commensurate nearly antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations providing the mechanism for high T(c).
