TESTING RELATIVISTIC CORRECTIONS TO THE QQBAR POTENTIAL ON THE HEAVY QUARKONIUM SPECTRUM

摘要
A quark-antiquark potential obtained by an improvement of the Wilson loop method and including all first order relativistic corrections is tested on the cc and bb spectrum and compared with alternative proposals based on ad hoc assumptions on the Bethe-Salpeter kernel. The light quark pair creation effect is taken into account using results existing in the literature. The minimum χ2 is found smaller for our potential than for the other considered potentials. © 1990.
