摘要：

A case of reversible spasm of the cerebral vessels resulting from a ruptured dermoid cyst is reported with radiological documentation. The patient had acute left hemiparesis; computed tomography showed a dermoid cyst above the planum sphenoidale and angiography showed marked irregular narrowing of the supraclinoid segment of the right carotid siphon. In 6 wk the patient showed complete neurological recovery and repeat angiography showed normal configuration of the carotid siphon bilaterally.
