摘要
We have measured the spin-dependent total cross-section difference DELTAsigma(L) in neutron-proton scattering at 66 MeV which is highly sensitive to the S-3(1)-3D1 mixing parameter epsilon1. The result DELTAsigma(L) = -(26.5+/-1.2+/-1.6) mb is in good agreement with recent phase-shift analyses that require a large epsilon1 (a stronger tensor force).
