Magnetic relaxation in powdered ceramic Eu1-xPrBa2Cu3O7-delta (EuPr123) and Y1-xPrBa2Cu4O8 (YPr124) (x=0, 0.1 and 0.2) was studied by means of ZFC DC susceptibility at temperatures from 4.2 to 36 K. Logarithmic magnetization decay rates have been determined at fields up to 0.2780 T. The Pr concentration influences the position of the peak of the pinning distribution function. The average pinning energies are higher for EuPr123 (e.g. [E] =48 meV for x=0, T=15 K) than for YPr124 ([E] = 33 meV for the same x and T). The influence of Pr doping is stronger for the EuPr123 system. Increase in the relaxation time tau in substituted samples has been observed. Magnetic properties above T(c) have also been measured.
