摘要：

The case of 21/2-year-old child is presented, in whom cervicodorsal discomfort progressed to quadriparesis. A spinal epidural hematoma was removed at surgery with complete recovery. No etiologic factor was determined; the case may represent the first report of spontaneous spinal epidural hemorrhage in a young child. The importance of early spinal decompression is stressed. © 1968.
