摘要
The performance of mesh-type photomultipliers with a diameter of 1 in. and 2 in. respectively has been measured in magnetic fields for different angles between the field direction and the axis of the photomultiplier. Moreover the response was determined for light incident at different places of the cathode. In addition we have developed a model which describes the shape of the measured gain distributions.
